Steep Canyon Rangers are playing the Boothbay Harbor Opera House on Friday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Rangers, a North Carolina based modern bluegrass band, are Grammy Award and International Bluegrass Music Association Award winners. 

The Rangers are currently on tour in promotion of their latest album “RADIO.” Produced by Jerry Douglas — acclaimed dobro guitarist — “RADIO” boasts a versatility ranging from rock to country to pop to blues and to bluegrass.

While The Steep Canyon Rangers tour mostly on their own, they are also well known through Steve Martin, actor and banjoist, as his backing band.

Coming hot off a performance with Steve Martin and Martin Short at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the Steep Canyon Rangers are a must see for all the bluegrass fans.

Tickets are $35 at the door, and $30 in advance.
