Poppy Moore, Alna's mail lady, wanted to thank the folks here for the food they donated en route. Lisa said they collected more than 250 pounds and thanks the box holders for all their kindness.

Would like to welcome Gabriel Duncan Lawrence to Alna. He was born May 6, to Albert and Sarah who live on the Alna Road. Congratulations to the Lawrence family.

The Committee for Alna History would like to thank Bob Owen for volunteering to complete one sash for the Meeting House Sash Project. With volunteer help all the windows of the meetinghouse will be repaired, reglazed and painted. This will help preserve the building for future generations.

I will not be doing birthdays unless emailed or called. Someone got upset because I didn't get permission to use their name. Rather than cause a problem, I will give up wishing folks happy birthday.
