Partners in Education (PIE) is excited to invite you and all your friends to eat at its fourth annual Italian Supper and Gift Basket Raffle to be held Friday, March 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Wiscasset Primary School. This event benefits the Wiscasset Primary School swim program for students in grades 1 through 3.

Living in a coastal community makes understanding water safety and knowing how to swim an important, life-saving skill. Fortunately the Wiscasset Community Center has a top-notch swim program that works closely with the Primary School’s Physical Education Department to ensure all Wiscasset’s children can be safe in and around the water.

PIE has been funding swimming lessons at the Wiscasset Community Center and bus transportation back and forth for years. Without the PIE funded swim program many of the children at Wiscasset Primary School would not have access to swimming lessons.

Please gather friends and family and join PIE for a hearty Italian dinner. You will not find a better Italian dinner around; everything will be homemade from scratch, with the best ingredients available this time of year, including locally sourced, pasture-raised beef, and greenhouse raised garden salad. Tickets for dinner are just $5 each or $20 for a family (two adults and up to five of their children) and will be available at the door.

A sampling of this year’s raffle gift basket themes and prize items include: Family Day Out Basket (includes tickets to Storyland and the Amtrack Downeaster), Pet Lover Basket (all courtesy of The Animal House), Movie Night Basket, Gardening Basket (features a membership to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens), a Kid’s Table (with many items from Papa Gepetto’s) and much, much more. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or six for $5 and will be available throughout the week of the dinner and at the dinner itself.  

PIE is a nonprofit educational foundation that supports educational enrichment and programming at the Wiscasset Primary School. PIE gratefully accepts monetary donations.
