Wiscasset woman wins lobsters

Jan Flowers, who moved to Wiscasset several years ago from Austin, Texas, bought a chance on Boothbay Region Community Center’s lobster raffle at Boothbay Farmer’s Market. The drawing was Friday, July 2.
Flowers is a retired school teacher and her husband is a carpenter. They have come to Maine each summer for some years and have now become year-round residents, having bought an old alpaca farm, not to raise alpacas but as a special spot to enjoy cool weather and have room for their dogs to run.
