Lincoln County college transitions
If you have been thinking about attending college, let the Lincoln County College Connection (TLC3) help give you the opportunity to further your education, improve your earning potential, and enhance your quality of life.
TLC3 is a collaboration between the Central Lincoln County, Boothbay Region, RSU/MSAD 40, and Wiscasset adult education programs with classes in each program.
The goal of TLC3 is to provide college transitions services to residents of Lincoln County who are graduates of an adult education program, adults who are returning to school after an interruption in their education or adults referred for developmental courses to prepare for post-secondary education.
TLC3 offers services to help students get ready for college and ultimately earn a college degree. College transitions in adult education works by providing classes in subjects such as study skills, college writing, algebra, biology and chemistry; by helping with completion of applications and financial aid forms; and through college counseling and career planning.
All the college transitions courses and workshops offered through TLC3 are free. Program costs are paid for through a college transitions grant from the state of Maine.
