Political letters to the editor will not be accepted after Monday, June 29 at 3 p.m. for the July 2 issue. As has been our policy for several years, “Letters regarding elections or candidates will not be published in the issue immediately preceding the election. We reserve the right to decide which letters to publish in the interest of presenting a cross section of opinion, therefore, we may or may not publish all letters submitted.”
