CTL holds biennial auction
On Friday, May 9, the Center for Teaching and Learning in Edgecomb will be holding its biennial Celebrate CTL! Auction. Funds raised at the auction contribute to the school’s scholarship fund and provide ongoing program support for our grades Pre-K–8 school that serves an economically diverse population of kids from the midcoast area.
The silent auction opened Friday, May 2 at https://center-teaching-learning.betterworld.org/. Bidding will remain open until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9. There are an assortment of gift certificates, memberships, experiences, and many more wonderful items up for bid thanks to the generosity of our local community.
CTL’s online website also hosts ticket sales for the Summer Fun Raffle Basket. For just $10 a ticket, you could win over $700 worth of experiences to fill your summer (and beyond)! The winner will be drawn on the evening of May 9 (you do not need to be present to win). This year, all proceeds from the raffle will go toward CTL’s playground improvement projects.
Additionally, check out Bucks for Books, in which supporters can donate to CTL’s book fund, as we are always looking to expand the CTL library for our voracious readers.
We welcome community members to CTL on Friday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m. for our in-person event, which will include student artwork, teacher experiences, and some in-person silent auction items.
