K9Cardio is a new dog fitness service for Wiscasset and Edgecomb.

K9Cardio, a new venture from Meadowsweet Inn for Dogs of Newcastle, features two exciting opportunities for local dog owners to get their dogs moving in the great outdoors, without the commitment of regular daycare. “Adventure Walks” and “Dog Running” will take place at various dog friendly trail systems in the area. Adventure Walks are active hikes with opportunities for swimming when temperatures allow. Dog Runs are a more demanding workout for dogs over one year of age and in good physical condition.

We are able to accommodate two to three dogs per outing who are friendly and safe on leash. For your convenience, we are offering a pick up and drop off service to your home or office! Adventure Walks and Dog Runs are expected to last two hours door to door. We will be coordinating groups of compatible dogs living in close proximity to each other, five days a week from 12 to 2 p.m. While on our outings, we will have filtered water and healthy snacks for refreshments (as well as a good supply of clean-up bags).
