Spring is a time for cruising and the winding, scenic back roads of Maine are perfect for cruising on a motorcycle. Need your permit? No problem. Central Lincoln County Adult Education is offering B.O.B.B. Motorcycle Education-Permit Course Saturday, May 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CLC Adult Education office in Damariscotta.

This Maine Motorcycle Safety Education Course is a classroom-only course that covers the basics of riding a motorcycle. Motorcycle style and familiarization will be covered along with safety gear, road hazards, and Maine laws and regulations. Upon course completion and passing the permit test (with a score of 80 percent or better) you will receive a certificate which must be turned into the BMV to receive your motorcycle permit.

The cost of the course is $79 if you register by May 2 and $84 for all other registrations.
