The Boothbay/Wiscasset girls' track and field team won four events May 12 in a Mountain Valley Conference meet in Wiscasset. Olivia Rittall won the 100M, 200M and 400M dashes. The 4X100M relay team also won.

In the 1600M racewalk, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Bea Wormwood finished second with a 12-minute, 30.25 second time. Maranacook's Anwen Kane won with a 11:26.59.

In the 100M dash, Rittall won with a 13.58 second mark. Teammates Rose Campbell finished third with a 13.82 and Moriah Smith finished fifth with a 14.12. In the 200M, Rittall won with a 28.39 second mark. Campbell finished third with a 29.61 and Moriah Smith finished fifth with a 30.0. In the 400M, Rittall won with a one minute, 2.54 second time. In the 4X100M relay, the Boothbay/Wiscasset team won with a 54.5 second mark.

In the 300M hurdles, Boothbay/Wiscasset Avery Rice finished sixth with a one-minute, 5.43 second time. Winthrop's Grace Folsom won with a 59.47. In the 800M run, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Audrey Robinson finished fourth with a three minute, 2.55 second time. Linda Lake of Spruce Mountain won with a 2:54.25.

In the 3200M run, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Maggie McCarthy finished third with a 14-minute, 21.59 second time. North Haven's Elsie Mann won with a 12:38.97. In the high jump, Boothbay/Wiscasset had two athletes place in the top six. Gabrielle Cassidy recorded a four-foot, two-inch jump and finished fifth. Avery Rice finished sixth with a 3-10. Evelyn Stephenson won with a 4-10.

In discus, Boothbay/Wiscasset placed two throwers in the top four. Zuriel Smith finished third with an 91-foot throw. Campbell finished fourth with an 86-11. Winthrop's Grace Folsom won with a 98-7. In shot put, Zuriel Smith finished fourth with a 26-foot, three-inch throw. Winthrop's Isabel Lessard won with a 29-0.

The team's next meet is Tuesday, May 19 in Rumford.
