Dressing down for the Lincoln County Animal Shelter
Five years ago, Northeast Security Systems began donating to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter (LCAS) for the spay and neuter program. Over the years, numerous dogs and cats available for adoption have been assisted.
Each Friday, Northeast Security employees can voluntarily participate in the Animal Friendly Jeans Day. For 50 cents a week, employees can dress down and wear jeans on Fridays. Done on the honor system, each employee is responsible to keep track of the days they wore jeans, the funds are collected annually.
Donations to LCAS fluctuate each year as Northeast Security Systems continues to grow. And employees know there are certain times jeans are inappropriate. The donation is used for the spay and neuter program.
