Local artists have an opportunity to show work at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital
The Miles Memorial Hospital League Art Committee is seeking area artists to submit work for a chance for their works to be featured in the Hall Gallery at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital, in 2026.
Artists interested in participating should bring three representative pieces, a short bio and a range of prices to the Arrowsmith Building on the corner of Route 1 and Belvedere Road on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m. Jurying will take place that morning, and artists should return at 11:30 a.m. to pick up their work. Notifications will be sent by phone or email on Oct. 22.
Twenty-five percent of purchased art will go to the Miles Memorial Hospital League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since 1930, the League has raised funds tosupport the purchase of medical equipment and supplies. It also supports staff education through scholarships and meets other identified unmet needsthat improve community health.
Six exhibitors will be chosen, and their art will be displayed on the ground floor of the hospital for about two months.Eligible artists should have 15-20 pieces available for display.
Paintings, drawings, original prints and photography will be considered; sculpture and textiles cannot be accepted. All artwork must be suitable for a public hospital setting.

Artists who have displayed in the gallery in the last three years are not eligible to apply.
