9:30-11 a.m. Hot Power Vinyasa with Live Music by Katie Matzell. Get your heart pumping and your energy soaring with this Baptiste inspired vinyasa flow class. We will work with standing postures, twists, balancing poses, backbends, hip openers, and inversions and end in a sweet, serenaded savasana by our resident songbird Katie Matzell. Drop in fee is $14 Please register online in advance.
Burns is an E-RYT 200 Yoga Teacher (Baptiste), and Licensed Massage Therapist with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Clark University. Through her bodywork and yoga classes, Burns’ intention is to guide people deeper into the "issues in their tissues" helping unwind patterns of emotional, physical and mental tension stored in the body.
Burns often weaves her knowledge of Jungian psychology, classical philosophy, energetic anatomy and alignment into her classes. Her intention is to provide tools that inspire people to awaken possibilities of healing themselves and connecting more deeply to their own authentic expression of themselves, their voice and their truth.
