Pemaquid Chapter NSDAR program Oct. 9
History and Function of Essential Oils is the focus of the monthly meeting of Pemaquid Chapter, NSDAR on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at the American Legion, 25 Industrial Park Road, Boothbay. All are welcome.
The program will be presented by Linda Wood.
For thousands of years, people have been using essential oils to enhance physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Science has begun to discover how these volatile aromatic liquids and the precious chemical compounds they contain (all plant-based) work to affect both body and mind.
This presentation shows us how we are preserving the teachings of history for the betterment of our lives.
Pemaquid Chapter, NSDAR, is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization. New members are welcome. DAR is dedicated to preserving American history, securing America’s future through better education and promoting patriotism. DAR members come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common bond of having an ancestor who helped contribute to the securing of the independence of the United States of America. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to join.
