Several puppies will be featured for adoption through CT Underhound Railroad at The Animal House in Damariscotta on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At least seven puppies, including 9-week-old hound mixes and 16-week-old cattle dog mixes, are scheduled to appear.
CT Underhound Railroad will be present with information regarding their rescue, volunteer and fostering opportunities, and dogs available for adoption. They will also have a list of other dogs in their rescue awaiting homes while being fostered in Maine.
A raffle, which includes a gift certificate to Meadowsweet Inn for Dogs in Newcastle, a feeder, food and treats will also be offered.
A bake sale to benefit Team Garron for the March of Dimes “March for Babies” Walk, coordinated by team member Susan Bartlett Rice, will be selling homemade baked goods.
This is the third in a series of Adoption Clinics held with CT Underhound Railroad at The Animal House, with the previous two resulting in the successful placement of six dogs.
CT Underhound Railroad was formed in August 2009 with the mission of helping dogs on death row in CT & all of New England. They have no physical location and depend on volunteers and foster to care for the dogs until an appropriate permanent home can be found.
