The referendum vote with the second try at a 2025-26 Wiscasset school budget is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 4 at Wiscasset Community Center, according to wiscasset.gov

The $10.74 million offer passed at a special town meeting July 23 at Wiscasset Elementary School, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kim Andersson has said.

Voters this spring also passed a budget offer intact at a special town meeting. The offer was later rejected at the polls, 281-206. This proposal asks $152,151 less of local taxpayers, according to Wiscasset Newspaper files.
