It was quite an enjoyable Art Walk Thursday afternoon. No rain! The street was very busy with vendors of all types on the sidewalks on both sides of the street. The shops and galleries were all doing good business. One of the highlights was the faculty of The Maine Youth Circus performing tricks and trying to teach people how to juggle and demonstrating balloon art with the kids.

Lining the northbound sidewalk several tables were displaying artwork by recovering artists and nonprofits dedicated to working with addiction issues. At the sunset "Requiem Event" held at the Sunken Garden, people who were affected by addiction gave witness, and lit votive candles for lost loved ones.

Maine Art Gallery opened its last show of the season. The annual members show was titled "Made in Maine."
